특검이 이재용 삼성전자 부회장의 재판부를 상대로 기피신청을 냈다.
A special prosecutor filed a request for evasion of the court against Samsung Electronics' vice-president Lee Jae-yong.
이에 따라 재판부가 계속 심리할지는 대법원이 최종 판단을 내리게 됐다.
As a result, the Supreme Court will make the final decision as to whether the court would continue hearing.
특검은 “이 부회장 사건의 재판장 정준영 부장판사가 일관성을 잃었다.”고 했다.
The special prosecutor said, “Jeung Jun-young, the judge of the vice-chairman case, was inconsistent.”
삼성 준법감시위원회의 사후적 설치·운영이 '삼성전자가 피해자인 이 사건'에서 일반적 양형 감경사유로는 적용될 수는 없다고 설명했다.
He explained that the post-installation and operation of the Samsung Compliance and Monitoring Committee cannot be applied as a general sentencing reduction reason in this case where Samsung Electronics is a victim. <정리 = 함용남 시사법률 크리에이터>
