신원 확인이 어려운 랜덤채팅 앱으로 인한 범죄가 늘고 있다. 경찰은 10대 청소년 3명을 준강도 혐의로 붙잡았다. 이들은 유인한 남성을 폭행·협박해 돈을 빼앗아 달아난 혐의이다.

절도는 상황에 따라 얼마든지 강도로 돌변할 수 있다. 이것을 형법에서는 '준강도'라고 한다. 즉 절도의 실행에 착수한 자가 재물의 탈환을 거부하거나, 체포를 면하려고, 또는 범죄의 증거와 흔적을 인멸할 목적으로 폭행 또는 협박을 가한 것이다.
Theft can be turned into a robbery in any number of circumstances. This is called 'semi-robbery' in criminal law. In other words, the person who initiated the theft attempted to assault or threaten to refuse the recapture of wealth, to escape arrest, or to destroy evidence and traces of crime.
절도 후 피고인이 피해자에게 붙잡혀 피해자의 집으로 돌아왔다. 이 때 비로소 피고인은 피해자를 폭행했다. 이 경우, 그 폭행은 사회통념상 절도범행이 이미 완료된 이후에 행하여졌다고 볼 수 있다. 그 이유로 피고인은 준강도죄가 성립하지 않는다.
