통합당 최고위원회는 당을 비상대책위원회 체제로 조속히 전환하기로 의견을 모았다. 이에 의원총회에서 이를 추인 받으려 했다. 하지만, 의원총회에서 결론을 내지 못하였다. 따라서 당의 진로 결정에는 시간이 더 걸릴 것으로 보인다.
