채널 A 이모 기자는 이 전 대표를 통해 유 이사장의 비리를 취재하려 했던 것으로 알려졌다. MBC는 이 기자가 이 전 대표 측과 접촉해 수사를 언급하며 유 이사장의 비위를 털어놓을 것을 재촉했다는 취지로 보도했다.
