신천지에 속한 서울의 한 교회가 서울시에 등록한 법인이 있다. 서울시가 그 법인을 취소하기로 결정했다. 이에 따라 신천지 교회가 해체될 것이라는 추측이 확산되고 있다. 또 법인이 취소되면 불법적인 종교단체가 될 것이라는 해석도 나온다. 결론은 아니다.
